THE RESONANCE MODEL · AI-ASSISTED GUIDE · NOVEMBER 4, 2026
A community’s identity matters, but its identity does not answer every question about its conduct. Isaiah repeatedly puts worship beside justice and promised restoration beside the need for change. A Resonance Model reading asks how a covenant commitment becomes visible in the way a community acts.
Begin with the people Isaiah addresses
Isaiah 1 names Judah and Jerusalem. A modern application should begin there before moving to a ward, branch, congregation, institution, or individual. Similar patterns can support reflection without proving that a present community is the exclusive target of the prophecy.
For Latter-day Saints, distinguish gospel doctrine, administrative policy, leaders’ decisions, and members’ conduct. These levels interact, but a finding about one does not automatically establish a finding about all the others.
Ask who experiences the stated commitment
If a community professes fairness, examine who receives a hearing. If it professes care, examine who is overlooked. If it values truth, examine whether inconvenient evidence can be raised without retaliation. These are practical questions to investigate, not accusations assumed to be true.
The body of a community also shapes belonging through ordinary choices: inclusion, honest dealings, listening, and sharing burdens. Leadership responsibility does not erase personal responsibility, and individual kindness does not remove the need for sound procedures.
Hold accountability and hope together
Isaiah’s calls to correction are accompanied by visions of restoration. A model application can therefore name a shortfall and describe what improvement would look like: a fair process, a repaired wrong, or a more reliable practice of protection.
Evaluate real cases with relevant evidence and fair context. The model’s alignment language is not a spiritual ranking system. A faithful study asks what the passage supports, where an inference begins, and what response is possible through truth, grace, and responsible action.
