Combine and Compound can strengthen joy or reinforce dissonance. Compare and Correct help us examine what we receive and choose what we continue to cultivate.

PROTECT · DIRECT · CREATE

Choose what you cultivate.

Within the Resonance Model, creation begins as distinct things come into relationship: a thought and an experience, encouragement and hope, good news and gratitude. What grows depends on what we receive, rehearse, and put into practice.

Notice what is growing

People, conversations, music, media, and our own repeated thoughts can influence our attention and state of mind. Gratitude and encouragement can compound joy; contention and harsh self-talk can reinforce distress.

Compare and correct

Ask what is true, what supports a message, and what it encourages you to do. Pause, question an assumption, set a boundary, choose a better input, or seek support. Feeling good alone does not establish Truth.

Consecrate and continue

Give your attention a sacred purpose through prayer, scripture, gratitude, uplifting music, friendship, and service. Continue practicing alignment with Christ as choices bear fruit and learning carries into new encounters.

Taking possession of your mind means practicing stewardship over your attention. We cannot choose every thought or control everything others do. Being affected is not the same as choosing agreement; agency includes the capacity to seek help and choose a new response.
