Privacy and saved work

What is saved
A free account stores your email, display name, authentication records, notes, projects, saved conversations, cited sources, and usage allowances. Records belong to your authenticated account and are not publicly listed. Service operators and infrastructure providers may process them as needed to provide, secure, or support the service; private does not mean end-to-end encrypted.
Visitors can try the guide without an account. Those conversations remain in the open page unless you choose to save them. “Save with a free account” temporarily places the conversation in this tab’s session storage while you sign in, then transfers it into your workspace and removes that temporary copy after successful saving.
When AI receives your writing
Submitting an AI question sends that question, relevant recent conversation, and selected published source excerpts to OpenAI through Vercel AI Gateway. The answer is checked in a second AI request against the same sources. Choosing “Examine this idea with AI” puts the selected portion of your writing into the question; it is sent only when you submit it. Other notes and projects are not automatically sent to AI.
OpenAI response storage is disabled in these requests. Provider processing and retention policies still apply. The website does not log question text or answer text in application error logs. Avoid including private identifying information about other people.
Service providers and security
Vercel hosts the website and API, Neon provides account authentication and database storage, OpenAI generates and reviews AI responses through Vercel AI Gateway, and Stripe processes enabled purchases. Authentication uses secure, HTTP-only cookies. Usage counters use coded connection identifiers and account identifiers rather than storing raw IP addresses in the application’s quota tables. Hosting providers may process connection information under their own policies.
Retention, downloads, and expiration
Paid membership expiration does not delete your work or restrict your ability to download it. You can export individual items as Markdown and your complete workspace as JSON and Markdown, including archived work. You can continue creating and editing through the free plan. Archived items remain saved and exportable. To request permanent removal of your account and work, contact the operator from your account email. Some billing or security records may need to be retained for legitimate operational or legal purposes.
Theological scope
The Resonance Model seeks to align with LDS theology but is not an official Church representative. It is a lens for viewing Truth within the gospel. Your private study does not become official doctrine or part of the published model. For official information, visit ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
