The current definition
Culminate is the seventh Law: a developing pattern reaches sufficient maturity, coherence, fruit, consequence, or readiness to become capable of transition.
Culminate remains seventh in Nine; Fulfill/Conclude are not current substitutes. Local maturity is not universal readiness or infallibility; eventual perfection in Christ is not excluded.
Development reaches local maturity
The organizers become capable of a larger responsibility. Their methods are sufficiently reliable, their resources adequate, and their commitments clear enough to consider a transition. Maturity is relative to the responsibility in view, not a declaration of universal perfection.
Readiness is not authorization
A capable person may still lack permission, agreement, or a legitimate role. Culminate identifies readiness; Cross identifies actual entry. Distinguishing them prevents a claim of spiritual maturity from becoming a claim over another person.
Carry the question into your life
Ready for what, according to which conditions, and who has a legitimate part in the decision?
This meal is an editorial teaching illustration. The Laws describe related functions that can recur and overlap; they are not a rigid timetable imposed on every event.
Editorial exposition grounded in the model’s September reference, working definitions, and reconciliation record. Illustrations explain the relationships; they are not additional ratified laws. See source versions and scope ↗
