The current definition
Continue sustains and carries participation into further encounter. It is fifth in the Five-Law Mortal Loop, where the sequence repeats without an active Consecrate step, and sixth in the full Nine, following Consecrate.
Not compulsive exertion, refusal to rest, or the whole of Continuance. Do not call it Law 6 without specifying the full Nine.
Participation carries into another encounter
Preparing the next meal carries previous learning into a new set of conditions. Continuing a community meal requires adapting to the volunteers, resources, and needs actually present. Faithful continuation can include rest, help, changed methods, or ending an unworthy arrangement.
Repetition is not automatically progress
A habit can repeat without meaningful comparison. Continue carries consequences and propensity forward; it does not certify them. Within the Nine it follows Consecrate; within the Five it follows Correct.
Carry the question into your life
What will carry forward—and what must change for continuing to remain truthful?
This meal is an editorial teaching illustration. The Laws describe related functions that can recur and overlap; they are not a rigid timetable imposed on every event.
Editorial exposition grounded in the model’s September reference, working definitions, and reconciliation record. Illustrations explain the relationships; they are not additional ratified laws. See source versions and scope ↗
