Truth, attainment & the observer

The reference is not created by our certainty. Yet development need not mean that everything we outgrow was false.

Truth and representation

Truth is what actually is, independent of belief, perception, acceptance, consensus, or this model. A representation is a map or account of reality. A map can be useful without being complete, and internally consistent without corresponding to the thing it describes.

An observer encounters reality through limited capacities and conditions. Attention, inherited expectations, memory, language, and circumstances affect what is noticed and how it is interpreted. Limited observation explains fallibility; it does not make every interpretation equally sound.

02

Lesser Truth is not a lie

The later framework expressly retains Lesser Truth as more than incomplete information in a human mind. It proposes that a lesser Truth can act in its sphere, compound toward further attainment, and remain available as a platform for another intelligence. The mechanism of that action is not specified.

Something can be surpassed without becoming evil or worthless. Refinement can retain what is sound, develop a lesser attainment, correct distortion, or release a form that another can still use. Those are different outcomes, not one universal act of rejection.

03

Perfect Truth and more perfect attainment

Within the model’s theological vocabulary, the Father is Perfect Truth and Christ is its Perfect Expression. Comparative language about a more perfect attainment concerns development; it does not describe the Father as deficient or turn the Son into an impersonal principle.

The model’s general philosophical claim about independent reality and its theological designation of the Father are related but not interchangeable categories. Naming that relationship is part of the framework, not a proof supplied by a definition.

04

Expression can become another beginning

Expression manifests an attainment and makes it available for further participation. Reception can take that expression into another encounter. Neither must wait until all possible refinement is complete. Speaking, listening, making, and responding can recursively develop one another.

A musician offers an unfinished composition to another musician; their response changes the next version. This ordinary illustration makes the relationship intelligible. It does not prove the model’s further proposal of spiritual imprint beyond ordinary communication.

05

Keep the mental shelf open

The mental-shelf image means allowing a claim to remain available for examination without immediately accepting or rejecting it. Remembrance brings a prior commitment back into consideration. Leap-frogging occurs when an old conclusion bypasses present Compare.

The same scrutiny applies to claims favorable to the Resonance Model. Neither familiarity nor intensity supplies an exemption from comparison.
